I really do.
Today, I turned this really pretty chain:
Into this deformed mess of scrap metal:
I was buffing it and it got caught in the wheel. The chain whipped around, shattered the light bulb, sliced open my hand and yeah...got totally mangled. Poo. That means this piece will not be making it to the Portrait show at Shaw Gallery.:( Stay tuned for the pieces that did survive:)

First - OUCH!!!
And second - OUCH! and DAMN! that was a really pretty chain.
don't you secure your chain to a piece of wood or something? (I read somewhere that's how to do it...)
Janice
geez, thats just HORRIBLE! i know you spent a lot of time on that beautiful chain ;o(
if it's a sturdy chain, i like to tumble it...especially if i've just oxidized it.
i've done that too - hours of work down the drain - is annoying and very painful
Awww! At least you had a "before" picture. :(
