Our Intercollegiate Metals Exhibition made it into the school Newspaper, the State Press, yesterday. Although the article has lots of slight errors, we are happy for any press about the show! I was interviewed for the article and one of my quotes actually has me saying something is really "cool". I now need to eliminate that word from my vocabulary! Thats so bad! that's funny about cool. I try to think of alternate words too. But awesome isn't much 'cooler'.
Oh, but it IS cool. What else are you going to say "quite an experience or honor?" Maybe you could substitute Neat-O. Definitely cooler than cool.
Congrats. :) - and personally I like "cool." It's, uh, neato.
I just thought of one. You could say, 'It's da bomb yo'. That way you would sound both mature AND professional.
