I watched a really great film this weekend called, God Grew Tired of Us. It is a documentary about the Lost Boys of Sudan, and their relocation to America. The film was eye opening and very very sad. It made me very aware of where I am in the world, of everything I have, and of all the opportunity I have been given. There are so many things I take for granted. It just really made me stop and think about life and the world we live in. I highly recommend watching it. Here is a trailer for the film:

Well, I think I'll go add that to my Net-Flix list! Of course right now I'm plunging through season 3 of "24" so it may be a while. I'm not an addict. It's cool.
We added this to our Netflix list as well. I met some of the Lost Boys of Sudan when I was at the University of Utah. They are amazing.
Is this appropriate for kids? I'm always looking for opportunities to show my kids how easy they've got it and to be more appreciative of it. As well as more aware.
Wow - this looks good. I'm definitely going to rent this. I'm always keeping my eye out for good independent films & documentaries.
