My New Shop

I finally decided to take the plunge. I quit my job to make jewelry full time. I set up an online shop for my jewelry and have spent the last few weeks photographing all of my inventory in order to post it online. The shop is through a site called Etsy. Etsy was created for artists and crafts people to sell their work. Everything on the site is handmade by artists all over the world. Most of what I have up now is beaded earrings and some small fabricated items. I will be spending the next several weeks before school starts working on a line of finer pieces. I want to create a line of pendants, rings, and brooches, incorporating sewing into silver. Please check out my shop and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy looking at what I have so far, tell your friends, and get your jewelry on! Check back often as I am updating the site almost daily.

To visit my shop go to:

There are also many other great artists/metalsmiths on etsy.com! Check it out!

Hi Lynette!
That is so great! I'm glad you took that big step, isn't it so liberating! I did that with real estate a while ago and it sure did feel good! I took a look at your stuff and it is fantabulous!!!! Wow! You've got some talent and I'm very impressed. I will definitely have to buy some things. Thanks for sharing the news with us. I'm glad you have the opportunity to go through grad school. Please keep me on your mailing list when you have a show displaying your work. I'd love to come. When I was at ASU getting my undergrad, I went to those all the time. Thanks again for sharing and best wishes with grad school and your new endeavor!

AWESOME! I checked it out and am proud to know and be related to you! I love the blog! The jewelry is great and presented perfectly. You are good at what you do. Keep up the good work and we wish you all the success in the world. Sorry you have married into a simple almost jewelry free family, but we love the jewelry we have from you and will continue to buy as needed! We brag about you all the time and will share your sites with our friends! Thanks for your support and encouragement to our kids to follow their dreams and fulfill their goals! What a great example you are to all of us. Enjoy school and jewelry making!

That's great Lynette!!! I am working on mine too lately, I have
considered doing that etsy thing, I heard about it a while back on
Orchid so you will have to let me know how it goes, seems like a good
thing though....You will have to let me know how it works out for you.
I am thinking I am just going to make my own website though...anyway
I just wanted to congratulate you on getting your website up! Looks
good, let me know if you need any help with it! :-)

Hey Lynette! That's great that you have a website for your jewelry now! The website looks really great. I sent an e-mail to like 25 of my friends with the link to the website for them to look at...so hopefully that will help. Did you take the pictures yourself? It's nice that you can take such close ups to show the detail.
Say hi to Scott for me, and good luck with the website, it looks great!

Hey Lynette-
I just wanted to write and say congratulations for setting up your jewelry store! I went to it right away, and it's all so beautiful. I especially like the circle necklace. I'm still figuring out which piece I like the best.
Keep it real!

Wow! I am so impressed! This work is absolutely incredible! Thanks for sending me the update. There were so many things I wanted to buy! Since I’m moving to UT and don’t know how long it will take to get my business to where it needs to be so that I can be secure financially, I’ll need to wait a little bit. But keep me updated! I loved browsing what you have. You are so talented!
