This is a brooch I just finished using mokume gane that I made this semester in the patterned metals class I am taking. I know I promised a technical post about the process, but it will have to wait!The materials are sterling silver, mokume gane of nickel and copper, pearls and silk. It measures about 1"5 round and about .5" high.
