Contest

So, here in this place we know as Blogland, there are often little contests on our favorite blogs that make us as readers jump in excitement, writhe in anticipation, and squeal with joy for the chance at winning one such contest. Well, I have always wanted to do one ...and I am feeling just spontaneous enough at this moment that I am going to do one! I have not done one thus far for a couple of reasons...mostly because I was afraid that I would do one, and no one would care. Ok people...don't let me fail here...I don't want to look like a fool! I think I may even be rambling out of nervousness...so here goes. If you can take a guess (and be right) about what this is a photograph of, you will get something extra special nice from me. Really, I promise!
And if you don't know what the photo is, make me feel better and just guess anyway!
(You people who share a studio with me, don't even think about guessing! Gosh...cheaters.)
Ok. Are you Ready? Set... Go!
Hint: It is something in my studio.
You have until Monday June 16th to get your best guesses in.
And here is another photo. Just in case the first one wasnt nasty enough for ya.

It looks like flux build up! Or patina build up, but you don't use that kind of patinas in your work...

lynette what a fun idea -- i think you should do this regularly even if you don't give anything away!

Buildup in an acid etching bath tank?

It looks like pickle that built up as though you over heated your pickle pot.

I'm sure it's the sink, where you rinse everything out with water.

*A Borax science experiment gone awry.

*Lime/calcium buildup mixed with baking soda and vinegar and then all of that mixed with dry ice.

I would guess pickle, though I'm not the first. I've been wanting to do a contest too, but was afraid that no one would reply as well. You have given me courage... Better think of one now!
